the answer to the big question “why are we here?” is so simple: to worship God with our whole lives and point others to Him.

there is no great mystery in this. it’s only when we try to seek another answer that the struggle begins. if we try to find meaning apart from the meaning that God has given us, we will continue to search and struggle until the day we die. but if we seek God first & His righteousness, then everything else will begin to fall in line.we are supposed to start from square one with God & then follow Him from there. this Kingdom life will provide us with all the meaning and purpose we can handle.

Look to God, seek Him out.

who else could make the great mysteries simple? who else could clear up all of our confusion? who else can point us in the right direction every day of our lives? who holds the very keys to the universe?

God can. God does.

in Jesus, we can seek Him out, through the Holy Spirit, He speaks truth into our lives.

there are so many issues to try to cope with, so many struggles that come across our paths, and we try to figure out a way to handle them on our own, some way to make things work. but we rely on our own strength, we trust in our own decisions, and we will fall flat every time.

we must get past ourselves. we must move forward beyond our own potential, and seek out the power of God in our everyday lives. this is not ‘name it and claim it’ this is a humble acknowledgment that we cannot do things from our own power, that we are weak and flawed. in this way, we move forward into the grace and mercy of God. repenting of our selfish & pride filled ways in order to truly become His servants as well as accepting our place as co-heirs with His Son, Jesus.

give up your pride.

give up your stubborn refusal to admit that your ways are not best, and that you need help.

give up your arrogance.

give up your fear.

our Father is ready and waiting to take your hand and take over the direction of your life.

now is the time.

love, mercy, grace and forgiveness are waiting for you to just take a hold of them…all you have to do is ask.
