well, i have been off of here for a little while, and it’s not been a bad thing.

i still enjoyed my time rehashing my old journal entries on here, but i’m glad for the freedom i’ve had in the meantime.

i am now teaching latin to my boys before i head out to work in the morning, and cutting this out as part of my morning routine has allowed me more time to spend with them, which is definitely a good thing. i have also had more time to spend in prayer rather than typing…this also is a very good thing. my time may be less structured from day to day, but i am still spending that time with my Creator-King.

this has also afforded me the chance to hop around more in my Scripture reading, where before that would have been off ‘the schedule’ i had imposed on myself. some days i read a few verses, others a few chapters…from wherever. i have been so structured and regimented up until this point, i needed to make sure that my time spent was not a habit, but a desire. and indeed it is…i still enjoy the time very, very much.
