“Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.

For to which of the angels did He ever say, You are My Son; today I have become Your Father, or again, I will be His Father, and He will be My Son? When He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, And all God’s angels must worship Him.”

What a glorious appearing Jesus Christ has made, sharing the very nature of God with His creation! He is indeed the radiance of God’s glory, and stands unique above any created thing, as being one with the Father & Spirit! He is above the angels as a potter is above his clay. He cannot be called equal with them, because that would be to draw Him down outside of His own nature, and they cannot be called equal with Him, because that would raise them too high, and beyond their own nature as well. They are His servants, His messengers, His attendants, but not His equals, and they would not have it otherwise.

Daily we, alongside of them, glorify Him. Daily we lift Him up, magnify Him and praise Him for being God. He is the recipient of all our combined labors and the focus of our love. He is the One who receives all good and who brings all good. He is both beginning and end, yet is unending, infinite and beyond comprehension. He perceives the depths of our hearts as He knows the hairs on our heads, and His will sustains our very being. We exist and persist based on HIs good pleasure, and He holds all authority.

There is no other, He has no equal. He alone is the Triune One, YHWH Elohim! Praise Him! Sing songs of His goodness, righteousness, faithfulness and love! Praise Him for His grace, for the peace He imparts, and for the care He provides! Inspired by His awesome love, GoLove others in His Name! Inspired by His example of humble service, GoServe others in HIs Name! Inspired by His Word that teaches us, GoTeach others about His glorious Name! Inspired by His provision, GoEquip others to do what He has brought into your heart to do! Go. In the Great Commission He has given our lives, go! Do not rest, do not be still, do not grow content with this world. It fades, it groans for rebirth and He will accomplish this. He will roll it up, remove it and rebuild, in perfect completion, the universe as He means it to be, glorifying Him in purity, honor and truth!

He is above all. He is in authority over all. Yet He loved so much as to put on our skin & bones and make His dwelling with us. Praise God the Father! Praise the Son, the Word made flesh! Praise the Holy Spirit who indwells His people! Take up your cross and bring Him honor today!
