All Will Praise God
For the choir director: with stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.
“1 May God be gracious to us and bless us;
look on us with favor Selah
2 so that Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.
3 Let the peoples praise You, God;
let all the peoples praise You.
4 Let the nations rejoice and shout for joy,
for You judge the peoples with fairness
and lead the nations on earth. Selah
5 Let the peoples praise You, God,
let all the peoples praise You.
6 The earth has produced its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.
7 God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.”
Psalm 67:1-7
—
Praise, plain & simple. It all belongs to God.
Every tongue, tribe and nation owes Him thanks & should bring their praises to Him.
Those who do not acknowledge Him, they should change their ways, reexamine their paths, and return to Him, so that they may glorify Him.
Because everyone will, one day, give Him praise.
Everyone will, one day, confess who He is.
Everyone will, one day, glorify Him.
And how much better to do so when you can still do it in this life and not when it is too late?
Pride keeps us praising self. Pride keeps our eyes focused inward. Pride makes everything someone else’s fault, and keeps us from being honest with even ourselves. Pride is painful, detrimental and makes us buy into a lie. The lie that everyone should be praising us, that we must be worthy.
Instead, it is God who deserves all our praise. It is God who should be glorified. Let us GoLove others in His Name, drawing eyes and hearts toward Him. He is the One who is worthy. He is the One who is to be praised. Plain & simple, it all belongs to Him. We cannot withhold our praise for Him. Every knee will one day how, and every tongue will one day confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. It is for His praise.
