“137 You are righteous, Lord,
and Your judgments are just.
138 The decrees You issue are righteous
and altogether trustworthy.
139 My anger overwhelms me
because my foes forget Your words.
140 Your word is completely pure,
and Your servant loves it.
141 I am insignificant and despised,
but I do not forget Your precepts.
142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,
and Your instruction is true.
143 Trouble and distress have overtaken me,
but Your commands are my delight.
144 Your decrees are righteous forever.
Give me understanding, and I will live.”
Psalm 119:137-144

God is just. He is the only One who is truly fair. His judgments are pure and unspoiled by anything. Everything He decides to do is right and good. His Word reflects that aspect of His nature.
Read through this portion of Psalm 119 again. Listen to David praise God for His Just nature.
Read it a third time, remembering how God’s justice came to bear on Christ for you.
Read it a fourth time, praying and thanking God for this aspect of who He is, and praising Him for helping you to see and understand it a little more today. Praise Him for providing a way for us to stand up under His judgment through Jesus Christ. What sweet relief!
